AudioUnit

This module allows you to host Audio Unit extensions. Audio Units are plugins that are contained in other apps that you can download from the app store.

MusiKraken allows you to use Audio Unit instruments and MIDI processors. If the AudioUnit depends on a tempo or timeline, you can activate the timeline in the general settings of the app and change it there.

The cogwheel button on the top will show you the GUI of the AudioUnit. The other button will let you select a factory prefab from a list.

Ports:

All MIDI events sent to this port will be sent to the loaded AudioUnit.

Some AudioUnits generate MIDI events or process MIDI events that were sent to the MIDIIn port. For example MIDI processor AudioUnits do not make any sound, they only generate or process MIDI. The name of this port depends on the internal port name of the AudioUnit.
