Haptics
This can be used to control the haptic feedback (the vibrations) of your iPhone.
The haptic feedback built into the iPhone is similar to a synthesizer, but uses vibrations instead of sound.
The reason why this module was added is that some MIDI controller setups are more fun and useful if they also include haptic feedback. Imagine for example using the iPhone as a drum stick, or by combining the Threshold with the motion sensor to play notes when the device is rotated in specific ways. Haptics allow you to also let the phone vibrate, and control the strength of the vibration by how much the phone is rotated.
Start haptic feedback by sending MIDI note events to the Haptics module. Multiple notes can activate multiple vibrations simultaneously. The strength of the vibration can be controlled by sending Control Change 1 (modulation) events to it.
There are no haptics built into iPads, so you cannot use this module there (but you can still use the haptics inside of game controllers on iPads).
Ports:
Any MIDI events sent to this port will be used to control the haptics.
